 Rocky, my love.

I am the first person to say I am not one for science, but this book had me hooked. The way each problem was laid out and explained made it easy to follow, and also interesting enough to keep moving the plot forward.

I loved how this story broke down, moving back and forth through time to get the entire picture.

If the book ended at the second to last chapter, it was a solid 5 star. However the last chapter itself dropped it a star for me. Its hard to explain without a spoiler, however I just felt like it was an easy way out of a story when I wanted something more difficult, especially given the premise of the book in the first place

Five claws up for this book! Even though I took a while to finish it, I loved it from the start. I do wish we could have found out what happened to Earth, that was a little heart breaking that we don't know. But I adored the friendship between Grace and Rocky. I also really enjoy how Andy Weir can write about complicated science in a way that still makes sense to me. I hope the movie lives up to this book. Fantastic read all around.
