Okay so I know it’s a romance, right, and they can’t fall into each other’s arms at once, there has to be some tension in the beginning, but can this be something other than ‘she-wants-him-but-she’s-saying-no and he-knows-she-wants-her-so-he-ignores-her-protests-repeatedly’?
This dude straight up lifts her into his car, drives to his hotel, and carries her in while she keeps saying no. That’s not okay, even if this is a romance with no other purpose that to provide some light entertainment. No means no, children, okay?
If you, like me, were looking for a quick read to pass the time, I recommend a washing machine instruction manual. Not this book. Anything but this book.

This one was alright. I keep flickering between 2.5 and 3 stars. I hadn’t read the first book out of the series because I figured it could be read as a stand-alone. I’d been in the mood for a simple straightforward romance and that’s what I got. Abra was the tiniest bit two-dimensional, I felt like her initial aversion to Cody wasn’t all that justified. And the drama with the building came up a little out of the blue. And I wished the epilogue had a little more girth to it. But other than that it was a good read that left me wanting to read the first book so do with that what you will.

DNF. The free preview was enough to confirm that the male lead is an arrogant asshole.

Totalmente predecible y totalmente olvidable!!
