This book had unrealized potential. Very scattershot pacing. Likeable characters and enjoyable premise. A good editor would make a huge difference. I’ll check reviews closely before I bother with anything else from this author.

I really need to get better at DNF’ing. This is just not well written but it had a cute premise. I’m still going to check the second one out, because I’m not nice to myself.
This book is rushing through plot trying to get to the end, and character development is basically tossed aside. Everyone meets and is suddenly best friends. Time also passes by super fast and with no notice, I think the book takes place over a year but I honestly can’t tell for sure. I liked the ideas in the plot. Just not the execution

This book was sorta a fun time. I felt that it definitely had more to do with ghosts than with witches so the name is slightly misleading I feel. But I loved the Mackinaw Island-esque setting, it was a very small-town feel. But overall I think it was too short to really do anything super special.
