Oh Nina, you've done it again. I picked this up whilst in the grasp of a reading slump and Brooke took me by the hand and dragged me out.
I don't know if its because the main characters in Nina's books have the same thought patterns as me or if she is just a genius but I have devoured both of her novels. I think the characters being so true to life, making mistakes in a realistic (and not in an overly contrived way) is what makes it so compulsively readable. I just wanted to hug Brooke and say 'stop lying to cover things up, you just keep getting caught!'. It also transported me back to my flatting days in uni <3
