It’s cute and it’s short. But sadly that makes a lack depth and build. Would have loved a more slow build up, more UST, more angst and Miller family drama.
But it’s a quick and easy read.

Oh my god I loved this so much, this is exactly what I've been looking for! Anyone looking for a steamy f/f romance that's not just porn and not just fluff definetly pick up this one!

I really liked this book. It has the same pacing and vibe of the 'traditional' romance novels I used to read in the past from authors like Nora Roberts. As a bisexual, I was extremely pleased to find a book with similar formatting that was queer. The only thing I felt was awkward was an intimate scene where the instigator was also trying to have a serious conversation involving talking about their family, which was like... kinda gross, lol.

That said, it was a great story over all and I'm definitely going to read the sequel and look into this authors other works!

Cute story! Fauxmances are one of my favorite tropes. Except in this one it’s two best friends playing straight (instead of two women who hate each other), and one falling for the other’s sister. It was a nice mixup to the norm. There is a homophobic family dynamic here which causes the main story conflict, which I felt was done well (especially also being from a small town).
