A hilarious romance that also managed to be sweet, as Blaze never ridiculed or demeaned Sam for his conspiracies. They worked surprisingly well together.

The dragon expert

Sam is the dragon expert who will release the others. However, he also finds his mate. This is an adventure/romance that leads you down an undiscovered path.

Still enjoying this series! It was good to get to know Sam and Blaze (and Peter, WHAT! - I can't wait to read the next book with Sana.)

And sad to say, I think I am totally side-eyeing the AHEMlostmemberAHEM. I think I am with Blaze on this and not Cory - MASTER GUARDIAN?!?!?! Hmmm....

Sam was super skittish and sketchy in book 1, to the point where I even wondered at times if he was a bad guy in hiding. I was so glad to get to know the real Sam in this book. He was nervous and paranoid, but we learn that there is much more to the story and to Sam's background. Blaze was funny and a great complement to Sam. I liked them together, and I am really enjoying the building story of the 4 dragon warriors who are no unfrozen. Super curious about their mentor. I loved meeting his brother, and the end had me excited to see what is coming next for Sana. 3.5 stars overall.

This story had more plot than the first book but not by much. The characters are still interesting though and they are what drive the story.
