Was a little boring towards the end, but I’m not sure whether I was done with the book or not.

A great ending to the first book. Fast paced and I enjoyed the switch in perspectives.

I loved this and more than the first book which was already pretty perfect! The writing, how dark it was, the characterisation and how the plot wrapped up was done so effortlessly. I couldn't put this down

The dulolgy definitely reads as one large story just split up into different books and I'm glad I didn't wait too long after finishing the first book as this started right where we left off.

This was so much darker and Neve was definitely a much more morally complex character than her sister Red which I really enjoyed. The themes of sisterly love and what makes you good or bad was done so well. The ending was perfect - I teared up in the last 50 pages.

One of my favourite duologies/series I've read in a long time

I liked "For the Wolf" enough to pick up it's sequel, and I am so glad I did. The vivid (monochrome?) descriptions of the shadowlands was so interesting. I loved Neve's development as she reckons with her past mistakes, and wrestles with her changing feelings towards the various people in her life. More so then Red it's clear how the events of the two books irrevocably change Neve.
