The beginning and end were fantastic - middle was ehh. Definitely a book everyone should read, though.
Anyone need a little hope at the moment? How about learning that some of our deepest held beliefs about human nature are completely wrong, and based on faulty and deceptive science. Open your mind and have hope. We are a loving species, and love will win.

Ich habe von diesem Buch erwartet, dass er mir eine positive Stimmung gibt (neben diesen Krisenzeiten) und ich muss sagen, dass hat er eindeutig geschafft! Das Buch hat mir geholfen eine positivere Sicht auf die Welt und auf den Menschen zu haben, Hoffnung zu haben. Es hat mich sehr zum Nachdenken angeregt und anders als andere Geschichtsbücher war das auch sehr unterhaltsam geschrieben. Ich hatte echt viel Spaß mit diesem Buch!
Die unbequeme Wahrheit lautet, dass auch wir, die Tiere, die sich als so ganz besonders empfinden, das Ergebnis eines blinden Prozesses sind. Evolution.
Das Böse ist stärker, aber das Gute kommt häufiger vor.
