Funny, easy little read. Probably would have rated higher if I were in the mood for fun or easy. I need to get back to Hell Bent!

Laugh out loud funny, I actually had tears running down my face. This is a great book for escapism and just plain good entertainment.

Quick-paced, witty, and just perfect escapist fiction to while away an evening. Looking forward to see just where Stephanie Plum goes next... and what’s up with Joe Morelli already 😁

This series is great fun and such an easy read, but the plots start to get a bit repetitive. However, this first book is great, full of great dialogue, funny plot twists, and actual, surprising danger.

Some of the descriptions are really good, but I had trouble with this one.  There are some fun/silly series that I can read and suspend my disbelief about.  This was not one of them.  WIthout giving away plot, there were just some things that I think for a woman, even if they are from Trenton, NJ, were not quite right.  Towards the end, it was bugging me a lot.  I'll read the second book because I bought it at a book sale.  I don't see me continuing beyond that.
