I've been in the mood for easy, entertaining reading lately, and this fit the bill nicely. It's a fictional story inspired by the story of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Meh. It was fine. The main character Bex kind of annoyed me honestly. Actually the majority of the characters annoyed me. It’s like the book started when they were 19 and progressed over an 8 year period where they all continued to act like they were 19. The beginning was better than the end. It wasn’t as good as I expected.

Chick lit at it’s finest haha. This had good romance, it was funny, and it didn’t turn my brain to mush. Not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I hadn’t done audio. The audiobook narrator was fantastic!

This was unabashed Will & Kate fanfiction, and I have absolutely zero problems with that. It was like getting a first-person view of a much juicier version of W&K's story, without real people and real feelings on the other end of the microscope, and I am such a sucker for that. Personally, I liked the crazy twist at the end; they had to make it differ from reality somehow, and it was still fun. I did get a little tired of Nick & Bex constantly having to deal with huge make-or-break obstacles, but maybe that is really what life in The Firm is like. I really enjoyed this book and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who, like me, has inspirational Kate photos in the closet and can't resist clicking on any slideshow of their romance.

I literally could not stop reading this. Shot daggers at my students each time they interrupted me to ask about the assignment.
