meh

I wouldn’t go as far to say it was a bad read but I don’t think I’d recommend it either. Some “adult” scenes were good but plot overall lacked.

so we start off with lilah tricking dante into taking her virginity? which is pretty wrong but dante ended up not minding clearly but still a bit odd.

i don’t want to hate on the book but the author tried to hard to make it enemies to lovers like they’d both argue over the stupidest things for around 10 pages straight and then dante is supposedly working in the military but then works in a private contract for the government with lilahs twin while dante is the son of a mob boss which nobody knows he’s related to?

i don’t recommended reading books where there’s twins anyway because that hospital seen just confused me like lilah’s twin started kissing dante and then she ends up falling in love with dante. like i can understand lilah’s problems here.

not just that she ends up getting a miscarriage and not telling dante for agess when it was his child, i understand but i don’t think it’s something to hide for that long and to much stuff was happening.

30 pages to the end they’re still not dating and he randomly proposes anyway i was tempted to not finish the book and i was surprised it didn’t leave me in a reading slump, i honestly don’t recommend it

Sir!!!
This man was head over heels for her even after finding out the truth!!! He is the definition of a book boyfriend!!!
Also the pool scene, I have no words it was f**king amazing!!

*I think I used to many exclamation points in this review*

If I had a dollar for every time I read the word "lamb," I could buy 6 mediocre bottles of wine and forget about this mediocre book. For the record, I'd have $119 per kindle.

This book was nice enough. Took me a while to really get into the story. The sex-scenes were pretty good, but besides this the story wasn't great.

I thought the main character, Delilah, was a bit naïve in my opinion. I really get that a miscarriage is difficult to deal with. But it is just stupid to think that because of one miscarriage, your genes won't work with his genes. That you won't be able to carry his child. If this were true no couple could have a miscarriage and have other children after this. These thoughts of Delilah really grated me. If she was just depressed because she lost a child, that would be totally understandible.

Dante was hot obviously. Very dominating, but caring. Wouldn't mind some sexy time with him, as long as he won't call me lamb. I don't mind nicknames, but she does have her own name...

So overall, the sex scenes were great, but the overall story wasn't. A nice enough book to read if you want somthing spicy, but it wouldn't be the first I would recommend.

Seven to heaven!

I read this series in the wrong order (this should be book 2), so that kind of messed with my enjoyment of this book because I already knew a lot of what happened from reading the next book first.

Still enjoyed it and Mr. Hardy is hilarious!

I hope I wake up with amnesia and don’t remember this dumpster fire.

This was just not good. I do enjoy the hardy brothers series so i thought the mafia side would be even better. But this fell flat. I only finished for the hints towards the next book. I’m hoping Izzy’s story is better.
