I fall in love with Dante a little more every time I read this book.
I absolutely love Lilah and Dante and the way they come together. I appreciate the way Shain talks about Lilahs depression and how it can make someone feel seen. I love the action and adventure and the tension and spice.

This book a hot mess. It's all over the place. Hard pass. I'm surprised I actually finished it to be honest.

This was great BUT towards the end Delilah was making choices thats didn’t seem true to the character. Example. Cruise ship (IYKYK) Also her questioning Dante’s love for her was a bit of a bore at times because it was so obvious he loved her AND tall, tattooed, protective, green eyed Greek god - come on, who would even consider turning that down LOL. The spice was SPICING and I always love text conversations in books - highlights the characteristics and relationships perfectly.

Shain Rose has created a world that I can't seem to get enough of. This mafia romance has the perfect amount of suspense, so much good steam (the mouth on Dante is fire!), and a good amount of angst. Even with the frustration I felt at times with the female main character, I still really enjoyed this book very much. And I really appreciate the amount of care the author took in handling mental health issues. It was really touching. Can't wait to read the next book.
This book is terrible. I mean really terrible. Awful. I hate this book. I don't not recommend.
