Istg if I hear Dante telling Lilah that he knows her body better than she does as an excuse one more time, I'll uproot my hair.

This book had so much potential imo, but it just didn't work out in the end. The amount of angst over the same things over and over again throughout at least half of the book made me feel exhausted and angry.

It made me hate the miscommunication trope.
I also wish there was more action, since it's Mafia themed.

That was not it for me sadly, but I would like to give the author another chance, just not in the near future.

Could not get over the nickname he gave her. Made me cringe every time.

Depression and feeling numb are explored throughout the novel. Which was in a great way. Not a fan of her writing. There’s no buildup towards the happy ending..
