I honestly didn't realize that Bastian and Cade were apart of the same world in this series

I really liked this one! I knew about Dante and Lila’s from the Hardy brother series so it was really fun to get their back story.

Dante and Lilah’s families have been friends forever and Dante and Lilah’s brother, Don are besties. Lilah has always liked Dante but she wasn’t sure exactly how he felt about her. Well one day she find out how he feels and then it all falls apart.

It’s a few years later and Lilah’s sister Izzy is not only working for Dante undercover but she gets herself and Lilah arrested. And Dante has to come bail her out.

Mostly everyone knows my least favorite trope is miscommunication. But I especially hate when a mc makes a life altering decision for the "good" of the other mc without telling them, resulting in horrible angst and hurt. And at 37%, they were talking in circles, arguing left and right all because Delilah was keeping a massive secret from Dante. I also super disliked the direction the author was taking with Delilah's twin sister's story in relation to Dante. The writing style was good and I'd definitely try this author again, but this one was definitely not for me.

I don’t know what it is about this book but my god it got so boring and stupid I thought I can’t be wasting any more time on this. 2 stars only because some of the smut was ok. Hate that fucking Lamb nickname, made me think of a roast dinner every time
fast-paced

I would probably give it a 3.5 because i really liked it but a few too many things threw me off
