Chemistry was amazing. Main characters didn’t annoy me. Loved the mafia spin mixed with secret military job. Nice change from the typical tropes. Couldn’t put this book down because I wanted to see how it ended.

Dante and Delilah are everything. This couple took me for so many loops on the journey of their romance. It’s beautiful and heartbreaking and heartwarming. It’s tense and sad and full of joy. This book will make you feel everything and long for something only a book boyfriend can give you Dante is incredible and wild totally suits him. Lilah is the sweetest but she’s real. She struggles with things we all do in our day to day lives but she’s so much stronger for it. And their ending is beautiful and I hope we see a little more of them in the next book.
At first I thought I'd get on board with the relationship between Dante and Delilah. Then they were reunited and he became controlling, possessive and violent over her. Do woman ACTUALLY want that?

This was just a disappointment. Another TikTok recommendation that left me confused on how people enjoyed this. The story was boring, long winded and all over the place. Dante is another overly obsessed man that’s supposed to come off as sexy but he is failing miserably. And Delilah was just so annoying.
