I like the characters and the plotlines, perfect for young children looking for something easy to read while still being interesting.

I listened to the 2ND book in this series because I didn't have a lot of time to browse the audiobook selection, not because I loved the first one. I feel rather ambivalent about this book. It had enjoyable moments and overly predictable moments. The characters are okay (except for Jax, who is awesome) but not remarkable. I may or may not read the 3rd entry but would probably only recommend this to students who can't get enough princesses.

Not quite as good as the first, but still a fun romp through the twisted fairy tale world of Fairy Reform School. Much like in the original, when you are surrounded by villains, you never really know who is up to no good. I will be continuing this series for sure.

THE REVIEW

Why this book?

I really liked the first book of this series

What I thought

I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the first. Mainly because of Gilly she was completely unlikable in this one. The way she treated her friends was horrible. She also had a big head, it made me want to punch her . With that said I did like it. The whole concept is interesting and the world building was excellent. Overall a decent sequel that I recommend.
