In the second book to this series, the story continues right where we left off in the first one. Lori has been kidnapped, and it all seems to revolve around Jess.

Dan is coming to terms with his feelings about Jess, while Jess is trying to ignore them, and just worry about the case that she feels is all her fault. Not only that, she also has her old boss launching an investigation on her about her conduct in her case before she came back home.

This book was good. Not as good as the first but still good. I just got annoyed with everyone doubting Jess, and accusing her of things that she didn't do. It really drove me nuts. But I admire how Jess dealt with everything, she really is good at what she does, and it was nice to see how protective Dan is of her.

The end was also awesome, and now I can't wait to read more. I do recommend this series, if your looking for suspense, and romance all in one.

Another good story. This series isn't among my favorites of this kind, but it's overall pretty enjoyable.
