Okay this was what we want for a fall romance. I LOVED THIS BOOK!
The 90’s feeling, the slow burn romance, the single dad, the divorcee situation, the whole freaking thing.
This story was written so well, you fell into the characters, you felt apart of the family. All the characters were exactly what they were supposed to be. This is mostly plot with like a scene or two of spice which made this book good for what it was. The resolutions, the ending, the dog. Me tearing up at the end. Thank you to NetGalley for the early arc and would love to see the sister find someone in another book!

I couldn’t have fallen in love with this book more than I did. I will say the epilogue when I started reading it gave me anxiety. I loved the story line. I love how they were for the most part doing things for the right reasons. I also love that it didn’t happen over night. Some books the main characters are jumping right in. This book took its time and I loved it because it’s different than the typical books. Great book to start the fall season with. Thank you so much Netgalley for this arc. I absolutely loved

This was such a cute read and would be the perfect fall/winter read! I loved the coziness of the town and the Bird & Breakfast. I loved Michelle and Cliff and girls and Rocket and just pretty much all of the characters!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cutesy fall romance with a great found family aspect and the goodest boy ever 🐕

This book felt like sunshine in a cup.
The small town, the seasons changing, the love: all of it was so warm and welcoming, and I loved it.
Michelle's growth is so beautiful, and the love Cliff doe’s out in spades is amazing. I loved their passion and how they were best friends and so supportive of one another.
Emily and Brittany were such fun characters and additions to a wonderful family. I loved all the side characters and the town quirks.
This book was just such a perfect small-town romance, and I loved every second.

Loved this one. Made me want to throw on a sweater, make hot chocolate, and watch Gilmore Girls, which is exactly what I believe Julie Olivia would want me to do.
I loved Michelle’s journey of taking over her mother’s inn in Copper Run, a small town in Vermont. She was a great character because she felt real, and she truly found herself again in this little town. Cliff and his girls Emily and Britt were so great too! I loved their dynamic and family banter, and how warmly they welcomed Michelle.
I truly enjoyed this story so much, Copper Run sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down! This is the perfect fall read!!
Thank you so much Berkeley via NetGalley for the eARC!

Read if you want:
-Hallmark movie vibes (she's the straightlaced woman from the big city, he's the charming guy from a small town!)
-baker x bed and breakfast owner
-everyone in this small town is in each other's business
-single dad
-really strong sense of community
-oh also an airport goodbye scene
I really enjoyed how well the small town was written - it was almost like another main character in the story. There was so much love between the folks! It was seen in how neighbours would watch each other's kids, how everyone was generous with their time and each other
I also liked how motherhood and the mother/daughter relationships were written about: they're not all the same, and they're not always idyllic
The romance was, suprisingly, not the highlight of the story. I did like how Cliff and Michelle's friendship felt so real - based on proximity, and a genuine desire to help each other, and the need for a friend who isn't related to you by blood. But besides that, I didn't care overmuch for their romance
Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the eARC!

This one was everything I’d hoped it would be! I received an ARC through Netgalley and was so excited. I can’t wait for everyone else to enjoy it. The 90s nostalgia and Gilmore Girlesque setting was perfect for my autumn loving self. With some familiar romance tropes like friends to lovers and grumpy/sunshine dynamics Michelle and Cliffs story still had its unique arc. The good balance of cozy and spice. It left me wanting to know more about the town which felt like a a character itself and its residents. This is the second book I’ve read where baking has been a focus and I love what it adds to the story.
