A nice collection, with a few fun stories, some repetitive, some sad, and information that I think a lot of fans will like.

I loved this addition to the series! It was sweet to get insight into different characters. My only wish is that it had a family line to follow because I got confused at points toward the end.

The pictures and anecdotes from real history and artifacts gave me a new appreciation for the world building of the book. I just really adore this series and think it should be one we all have on out library shelves and can be recommended to any reader. (I'd say middle grade/7th and up just becuase of some violence and deep politics)

I am going to miss this series! I’m genuinely sad it has come to an end. It has become a favorite and one I will definitely reread someday, hopefully with my older kids. This was great insight into the author’s process of storytelling and lots of fun extra stories about the characters I’ve come to love. I might even make the recipe that was included in the book!

Finally! A way to go back and re-read all the various short stories that doesn't include me fully in the trenches of LiveJournal, trawling for shitty pdf photocopies in the year of our lord 2022.
