I agree with the reviewers who say this is for fans of the series only... I have to go back and read Thick as Thieves and the Return of the Thief, I think. I never thought about why Eddis is called Eddis and not Eddia, and how that happened and whether she had to fight to make that happen. I enjoyed the short stories, but I enjoyed the ones most that I could mentally fit in with the books I know and love. Again, must re-read the last two. This is an entertaining companion book and I enjoyed learning about the art that inspired the stories.

I loved this so much. And I dedoerately hope that those hints at the end mean there will be future stories in this world.

I always enjoy returning to the world of the Queen's Thief. This was a lovely little collection of short stories, as well as snippets from Megan Whalen Turner's travels and research. The only downside is that, because it's been a bit since I finished the series, it was hard to place certain characters and settings outside the context of the novels.

i missed this world and the characters so much but also the last story?? Opening up a whole new storyline of the future characters and the opening letter saying she’s not really done with this world?? my jaw dropped im a greedy little gremlin just sitting here waiting for more lol
