Read this right after book 1. It’s essentially an extended epilogue that I think would have rounded out book 1 better, since it focuses some on the girls who died. Overall though, another fun, quick, and hot read

Georgie takes the excuse of an earth honeymoon to do some healing and get some closure. Vektal being the bestest mate only wants to support her and is all for taking advantage of some alone time to further bond.

Bittersweet (and sexy), this was a poignant visit with these two as Georgie does her best to deal with her trauma.

I don’t typically like smut but I love how story-heavy and romantic this is and I love me a good alien so this series is *chef’s kiss*. The author tried hard to make the Stockholm syndrome less cringe but I still wanted a little more about consent. I absolutely love Liz’s whole thing and how her decisions turned out, especially the fucking hunting thing. I’m so excited to get to know all the characters in this series.

READ MY SERIES REVIEW HERE

I expected just more smut with Vektal and Georgie, but one again Ruby Dixon has surprised me with an actual mini-plot that ties up a loose end I didn’t even think about (which makes me feel a little guilty). Alas, there was some more delicious smut, but I am glad that this novella accomplished exactly what it set out to do—make me love this couple even more.

I’m super glad the author added this novella! I thought the first book felt a bit unfinished as far as the FMC’s side of things and we needed to close a few things that felt unfinished. 👏👏👏
