I love all of bridget l rose's books at this was no different.

I love books where he's just so obsessed with her it's one of my favorite tropes. Also the mental health rep was great. the plot twist caught me off guard i thought it was going to be something completely different. I loved seeing all the characters from her previous books i think this is the first time when ALL the characters get together I haven't read Chase yet tho so I could be wrong. Adrian & Nevaeh are my second favorite couple in the Pitstop universe after Val & Gabriel.

this is a little thing but literally the only thing i didn't like in this book was when she introduced herself & he was like "oh that's heaven backwards right?" and she was like "yeah not many people get that" im sure literally everybody knows nevaeh is heaven backwards it's not that uncommon of a name

the cliffhanger was criminal tho waiting for an undisclosed amount of time for the next book is gonna be the death of me im so impatient.

ARC Review
Reserved – Bridget L. Rose

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spice: 🌶️🌶️

📖 Synopsis:
Nevaeh’s dream of becoming a professional tennis player abruptly comes to an end when she gets into an accident that prohibits her from playing. Undeterred, she takes a daring leap into the writing world of Formula One drivers where she encounters not just fast cars but HOT Formula One drivers. Amidst the glamour and adrenaline, there is only one rule for the writers… NO dating any of the drivers. This shouldn’t be a problem for Nevaeh considering her complicated history with the sport. Being a female writer for a sports journalism page is not an easy feat, given her intricate history with the sport.

Enter Adrian, the attractive Formula One driver relentlessly pursuing the World Championship title. As Nevaeh dives into the world of Formula One, sparks fly between her and the hot F1 driver. Will Nevaeh risk it all to chase after her heart’s desires despite the obstacles ahead?

💭 Thoughts:
Before reading this book, I knew absolutely nothing about race car driving or Formula One, but man am I ever glad I decided to apply for this ARC. The chemistry between Adrian and Nevaeh was swoon worthy. They have my heart!  I loved how protecting and caring Adrian was towards Nevaeh. He picked up on the subtleties regarding Nevaeh and always had her best interest at heart but Adrian’s mouth… DAMN he knows how to heat things up. The spice in this book was absolutely phenomenal.

The soccer stadium scene… COME ON!! Absolute perfection!

I appreciated the mental health rep in this book as we watched Nevaeh work her way through her anxieties and Adrian battle inner demons regarding his past.

I will be sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the second half of their story!
This book is the fifth in the series but could most definitely be read as a standalone. There is enough information in the book that you really get to know and understand who they are. However, I will most definitely be going back to the beginning to read the rest of the series. Who knew race car drivers could be so HOT!!

📌 Favourite Quotes:

“The color of your lips, the color of your eyes, the color of your hair, and the color of your blush. … those are my new favorites.”

“Je t’appartiens, mon paradis.”

“Careful when you do that, mon ange, because I have a weak spot for women who tease me… don’t bring me to my knees if I’m not allowed to taste you…”

This is an infinity rated book for me ⭐️

Lights out and away we go! 👀

A book based on my favourite papaya boy. Yes please 🧡

I needed time to process the ending of this book. It had me shook. Honestly, I can’t handle it.

This book had me in a chokehold the whole way through. Adrian Romana is my favourite character written by Bridget. Probably helps that he 100% gives me the vibes I’d expect from Lando.

Nevaeh is the most relatable character I’ve ever read about. Her experience with anxiety and worrying about everything I can relate to on so many levels!

Seriously, go and read all of the Pitstop Series if you love a spicy F1 romance series 🌶️❤️

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to continue processing my feelings over the end of this book and going to go and manifest a trip to Monaco and finding myself a romance just like this book 🥰

Thank you Bridget for the ARC copy and I can’t wait to order a physical copy.

This book has such a lovely story. Adrian is so considerate and Nevaeh is such a warrior. The different family dynamics are so interesting to see, and all the Formula 1 action has me cheering the races that have not happened in real life. Mental health representation is immaculate, the romance is sweet, and the spicy scenes hit just the right spot (in my opinion there is just enough of them to not take away from the lovely story). The ending has me wishing that the next book was out already, because it was so unexpected.

Before I start this review I want to thank the author, Bridget, for giving me the opportunity to read and review an ARC of Reserved and want to express how grateful I am.

In all the books I’ve read in the Pitstop series, the author has never failed to make me fall in love with her characters, and Adrian and Nevaeh were no except to this. Every book in this series holds a connection to an emotion I didn’t know I felt and to be able to feel everything Nevaeh and Adrian were feeling, whether it was their anxiety, grief, happiness, etc. was so special. The writing was very well done, it didn’t feel like trying to decipher a code that I’ve experienced with other sports romances and the plot was perfectly unexpected.

The build up to the plot twist at the end was executed so perfectly, I was feeling so anxious in the last ten chapters, sort of empathizing with Nevaeh’s anxiety and I think made the impact of the last chapter so much better. The forbidden aspect of their relationship while also being around each other at the track had me on the edge of my seat constantly worried that they were going to get caught.

Not to mention it’s been days since ive finished the book and I keep thinking back to the plot and connecting dots and making realizations and theories relating to the plot twist. This is easily one of my top books of the year. Definitely a 4.5/5 stars.

Thank you to the author for the eARC of Reserved!  All opinions in this review are my own.

While I liked Valentina and Gabriel's story in Rush, there is just something about Adrian and Neveah's story!  I don't know if it's the forbidden love trope, Neveah's tennis history, or Neveah being the only girl Adrian has ever wanted to be in a relationship with, but Reserved was so good!  Rose does an excellent job of making F1 accessible to readers who may not know about the sport while also rewarding readers who are fans.  Rose has clearly shown her growth as an author in her newest release and I look forward to the next one, especially with the way Reserved ends!
