I'm glad to be done with this book. It wasn't bad. Just... Well, I don't see the point of its relevance to all of Narnia's story as a whole.at least not yet. I don't have much to say about this book. It was kind of boring. There aren't many parts in this book that make me want to remember it in excitement. mostly just born walking/Riding scenes.I always love reading about Aslan if and when he appears. And it was a little interesting hearing of Peter and the kids from A perspective when they're older.
I, at some point, but this book was going to explain the very beginning of what happens right at the end of book 2. that is the background, sort of, to the beginning of book 4 (I tried to word that without spoilers). but it didn't. Anyway, moving right along to book 4 - Prince Caspian.

A lesser known (at least that I am aware) of the Narnia books. I found this one delightful. The characters were not deep but they were likable and the action was a page turner! I loved when Aslan showed up and the lessons he taught to Shasta and Aravis. I love how these books are strung together by Narnia more than by characters. I am excited to read more.
The third book chronologically, although technically occurring during the events of the second book (during the reign of Peter, Edmund, Lucy and Susan).
This feels like a happier version / retelling of the prodigal son. I enjoyed this immensely! The writing here is far more whimsical and comparable to JK Rowling’s more lighthearted writing in some portions of the Half Blood Prince. It felt familiar and warm - one to read before bed.
