This book was a disappointing and boring addition to The Kissing Booth series, and I didn’t enjoy reading it. I didn’t like that it had no plot or conflict, just a series of random events and conversations that happened during the road trip. The plot was bland and unoriginal, and it felt like nothing important or meaningful happened. I also didn’t like that it had no character development or growth, just the same old personalities and dynamics that we’ve seen before. The book also had a lot of grammatical errors that made it hard to read and enjoy. It seemed like the author didn’t proofread or edit the book properly.

I decided to read this book as I loved the first four in the series. I enjoyed this novella and I’m looking forward for the last book of this series.
The main character is Elle Evans who is missing her boyfriend and has decided to do a road trip with her best friend Lee to Boston to meet up with Amanda and Noah. Elle is getting ready to go to college and wants one perfect spring break before the stress of picking a college. This novella is a romance young adult book.
My favourite bit was Elle and Lee in the car on the way to Boston. All the things you expected out of a road trip with their usual banter. I missed Rachel in this and Levi. I loved all the banter in this and the cute moments with Elle and Noah. This is the perfect novella before the final novel in the series which I am very excited for.
The drive sounds like fun but for two people who have hardly seen each other and can finally have some alone time not taking that time is just sad. Almost like they are afraid to be alone.

This was another fun addition to the Kissing Booth series. I didn't enjoy it as much as 'Going the Distance', but this is probably because it is a lot shorter and therefore not as much can be included. I would have liked to have seen more interaction between the characters, particularly Elle and Noah, or even just more of Lee and Elle's travels rather than them in the car. This took longer to read than I would've expected, probably due to how there wasn't much going on and limited interaction between the characters. Overall, I'm glad I read this book but it was quite forgettable- however, I'd still recommend it to fans of this series.
