well i finished. did i skip the epilogues? yes. bc idc. jax was so toxic, so childish, so SELFISH, i couldn't. why is elena the one making a grand gesture? YEAH HE SHOULD PAY YOUR ENTIRE WAGE HE SABOTAGED YOUR JOB AND THEN LITERALLY SAYS "OH SHIT I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF HOW THIS WOULD EFFECT ELENA" yeah dude. you didn't. bc you're selfish.
everyone problem anyone else had, his was worse. and i get it. i do. he's going through a lot, but he was an actual dickhead. was this enemies to lovers? no it wasn't.
definitely false advertisement. i'm also not sure if i like lauren asher's writing. i loved the fine print, but i'm thinking back to other books and i read and maybe i've been wrong. bc every book.... is always the same.
i'm 27 years old. i don't want to read about childish miscommunication and adults not able to resolve their issues. there is enough of that in the real world, can we have it in a fictional one?
i really thought i was gonna love this one, but i hated it. it reminded me of my ex and the texting, the drunk calls.. it's just a no.
do not believe in the tiktok hype.
