Normally I don’t read step-siblings. Last one I read was probably 10 years ago when that was the IT trope. I have nothing against them, just not typical to go to. This story was well done. I think it helped that they weren’t raised as siblings too.
Raylee total Harley Quinn vibes with her revenge which I loved. But I don’t think she is my favorite female. There was just something about her that just rubbed me the wrong way. I am still trying to figure it out.
As for Colton I think he takes the cake for the guys being an a**hat. I will never look at wine bottles the same. I guess it is a good thing that I never drink. This book definitely proves that it is a very thin line between love and hate. On to the next book.
Bully romances aren't my favorite. Neither are secret societies. This was still an enjoyable read/listen for me since it was also a taboo/forbidden romance. I'm 10 yr older than the FMC and wish I had an ounce of her confidence back when I was her age. Also love that she wasn't only confident but strong. A true fighter without being annoyingly whiney 🙌🏾

The love hate relationship between these these step siblings is amazing. The way that each of them trained the other’s mind and body to crave what the other needed. That openness in communication that they had with each other. their love might’ve been that toxic kind and dark kind but it was explosive in a good way. I really don’t like how each FMC is bleach blonde hair with blue eyes. It makes them seem very generic when in fact they are not.

3.5! Good novella but a bit different than the rest of the LORDS series. I still enjoyed the characters and learning more about the guys that work for Tyson!
