It was a quick read. Lots of drama, not as many plot twists. Just wish they’d told their parents about them in the story- think it would’ve been interesting to see their reactions

Dnf at 50%. These people need therapy

i have some mixed feelings about this. on one hand, i ate it up and did not want to put it down. but also, i wish their relationship had developed more. all of a sudden they loved each other and i felt like more should have changed between them and their dynamic for them to reach that level. especially for the absolute 180 it was from their previous feelings for each other. i also wanted raylee to stand up more for herself at times. like she slayed when she destroyed his car but pls stay mad at him for longer than 3 minutes next time. more GROVELING!!!! also, the scene with nate made me uneasy, like i get torture but what they did at the end of that chapter was a little sickening to me.

I didn't hate this and feel it deserves one and a half stars. The author very clearly has a writing style, basic character template, and generic story/plot arch that they like to stick to. It is what it was, but it's not worth any hype or loud praise. It's a book, and that's about the best I can give it.
