slow-paced
Where was the plot? Or was that the point of this book???
goood
Not directly in the Lords storyline but it was nice to see some of the other characters and their story. This was taboo because of the step siblings relationship but man the spice was there.

I read this book after reading The Ritual and The Sinner. I loved every second of it, off the bat the author starts with an intense scene and I knew I would love it! I hate slow burn books, and Shantel never disappoints. Couldn’t stop reading it, the characters where well developed, the MFC is not a damsel in distress which I fucking loved and the MMC is just too delicious for words. I would suggest reading The Ritual first, but you don’t have to. Highly recommend if you like dark romance and lack some morals, like me ❤️
Omg yall were not lieing this was so good!

I was gonna skip this novella because the whole step sibling trope wasn't rocking with me. I'm glad I decided to read it because this is was a fun time. A heartbreaking time for a bit there. It was so interesting seeing a bit into the world of Lords, or lack there of, from outsiders
This was so difficult to read, usually I don’t cringe easily but most of the scenes in this book were just sick and twisted.
The author probably should’ve focused more on the characters, it would’ve been more entertaining if there was a story??!
