Decent but the ending felt terribly rushed and seemed to come out of nowhere.

I really liked the arc of this story. The pull from each of the Masters (Tolkien, Lovecraft, Bronte and Wells). I loved the ties to their books and the ultimate look at the role and importance of Role Playing games in people's lives. Great Story, Great Ending!

Probably the best graphic novel series I’ve read this year, let alone ever. A poignant journey into identity, the nuance of both role playing games and the roles we play, and the rich world of DnD. Absolutely worth the read.

I kept waiting until I finished it to judge it, and I just… didn’t get it. I feel like this needed to be a 500 page novel for me to understand what it was about and why the things that happened, happened. It’s cool! The classes are neat and I love Ash but the story seems like skin over bones. I never knew where anyone was or why they were doing what they were doing, and the reveals and twists didn’t make sense.

This made me cry. So well done. I’ll be returning to Die often.
