I picked this book because it was the winner in the business category in goodreads choice awards 2014! with over 20,000 votes
I thought maybe there is something to it .. but no really this whole thing could've been done on a talk show, a 1 hour interview or something where she can say everything she wanted to say but a book? I don't think so.

I could've totally missed the point of this book since a lot of people seem to like it!

This was a great book to start the new year off with; it served as motivation to achieve my goals and all that. Sophia Amoruso's "started from the bottom" story is amazing, and it's crazy how hard work and a bit of luck can go a long way. It's unrealistic for my life personally (not to be a Debby downer), but nevertheless, it was a fun book to read, and it reminded me how strong and capable I can be as a woman in this modern world.

I'm really proud of myself for picking this read up, as preachy, biographical success books aren't usually my go to. However, I really enjoyed Amoruso's voice and wit in this piece. If you're looking for a girl power-y, rags to riches story, this is it.

It's funny how Amoruso details her ways of scamming to the top of the financial food chain and publishes Girl Boss a few years before Nasty Gal tanks. The way this book has shaped a generation of hustle without realizing that it is rooted in a grifter who's made a castle out of sand and gone rich from selling an illusion.

Awww what a great book. I watched the tv series when I was 16 which inspired me to start my business and had the book on my TBR for a while. Sophia is quirky and inspiring

Bastante honesto. Mezcla lo biográfico con reflexiones al respecto. Fácil de leer. Vi la serie basada en la vida de la autora, entonces hay bastantes cosas que me resultaron súper familiares.
