The majority of this book is just filling in gaps for Magnolia Parks: The Long Way Home. It would probably be more enjoyable as a tandem read because you already know how the story goes so there’s nothing really new or surprising.

Daisy is an absolute badass though and I am here for it. Loved seeing the softer side of Christian (and Julian).

The development of Daisy's and Magnolia’s relationship is the hero of this book for me. Was so nice to see Magnolia be able to help and support Daisy despite how guarded Daisy is around her.

The final two chapters are heart wrenching, which all MPU books seem to be.

am laying here in my bed, fresh off of finishing this book, staring at the ceiling and simply asking: jessa WHY?????

Anyway, I have never loved a series as much as I love the MPU, at least not as an adult. The last time I loved a series like this, I was 14 and had just read Twilight. Nothing else ever stuck in my head that long until last year when I read the first book and everything changed.

so obviously I loved this installment, it made me cry, I annotated the hell out of it, and I'm (sort of) patiently awaiting the next one. In the meantime, I just got some merch so I'm really excited about that.

Was this Daisy’s book? Because I couldn’t tell.

I love Daisy Haites. She is one of my favorite characters I LOVE HER. so color me surprised when this book became the Magnolia Parks show! Why. Don’t get me wrong, I like Magnolia. But if I’m reading Daisy’s book, I want to read about Daisy.

But from what we did get from Daisy and Christian I was obsessed. I love them always and I’m fully convinced they’re soulmates. Really excited to see what the rest of this series has for me!

GODDD THIS BOOK SERIES HAD ME IN A CHOKEHOLD

I know a lot of people were upset at the lack of new info but to me getting the events of the ‘The Long Way Home’ from Christian and Julian’s perspective was exactly what I wanted!

Listen, I’m sorry BJ girlies im a Ballentine hater to my core!!!!!!(not Henry though! Never Henry you’re the superior Ballentine)  Julian is the superior choice and I’ll die on that hill!! I hope my baby gets his happy ending plz Jessa I need it!

Christian and Daisy 🥲 plz give them peace they deserve it

I’m not sure whether it’s just the kindle edition but there were a lot of spelling errors in this book! Nothing I couldn’t get past though! Also I can tell the author isn’t British as using phrases such as the ‘London PD’ rather that the ‘Met Police’ were kind of jarring!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m going to struggle to wait patiently for book five 😶 JESSA PLZ RELEASE IT SOON
