I would give this a ten star rating if I could. This book was absolutely amazing. It's the first book I've read in literal months, and I'm glad it was this one.
I know I'm not the target audience for this book, however that doesn't excuse terrible writing. I drew the line at "defensive crab walk " which caused me to pause, laugh out loud, and then laugh with my partner about that ridiculous imagery. This line occurs in the middle of a tense scene so it obviously was meant to be serious... but I think the author just looked up synonyms for types of walking without actual research, ya know how we did in middle school in Microsoft Word? Crab walking?!? That was your choice for a serious scene????
