Honestly it is just slower than I want right now. I may pick it back up but not sure.

This book was a fascinating dive into the life of Ada Lovelace, the first programmer. As a math teacher, I love learning anything I can about mathematicians from the past. I had no idea about how close Ada was to Babbage or anything about her father and aunt. I really enjoyed having the book from Ada’s point of view rather than the author just talking about her. My only issue was how abruptly her point of view ended and then we were told how she passed away. I wanted just a little bit more.

I'm not going to finish this one. The writing felt laborious and I didn't really like any of the characters. I skimmed a couple of other reviews to see if this was worth finishing, and it sounds like this touches very little on Ada's life as a scientist/mathematician, so I'm gonna pass.
