This book toes the line between fantasy and a thriller. It's very fast-paced, but it's also a bit predictable. The best thing about it are the amazing descriptions.

As someone raised in a small town, Near felt so familiar. A story of small minds and fear but also courage. 
It’s beautifully written and a joy to read.
