Yeah this is my least ranked Kleypas so far. The hero was absolutely awful and I don't think he actually redeemed himself the way Kleypas wanted us to think he did. The heroine was exceptionally weak. There were some very cringe descriptions of her being childlike. The hero's inner thoughts were trash throughout the entire book. Super negative commentary on sex workers. Read all content warnings.
