I would give this book 3.5 stars. It was good, but a little too high fantasy for me. I personally prefer books where the characters and plot are the focus and this book focused more on the world and the history.

Slow pace but so worth it. When you get to the last few chapters you don’t want it to end. A magical masterpiece!

This is my favorite book of all time and I vow to read it every 5 years. I want to open it back up and start it all over again. This is, from start to finish, a wonderful experience. I’ll come back and review more when my mind isn’t wandering dark English moors and staring up at the stars.
