I almost dnfed this one, but I kept going! 2 strikes... first strike for me part 1 was to long, not necassary at all. Strike two was the 'blackmailing thing of them f*.'

Tik tok has spoiled me the heck out of this books so I knew what the storyline was about ... So I know the charachters are in the same bloodline. Still found that weird. Also I don't find this man attractive. In one chapter he depends her to take her clothes of and she is unsure... give me the ick...

I wasn't a huge fan of the first book but I've heard good things about this one so I gave it a chance. There were a lot of predictable elements, but they weren't horrible. I was not a fan of the
third act break up 🙄
and Rhys was too possessive, not as much as Alex but still an unhealthy amount. I liked how this book smoothed everything out in a believable way though. I still haven't decided if I'm reading the next one, we'll see how I feel in the future.

okay so i had really high hopes for this book because it’s all over tik tok but i’m not sure how to feel. the whole royal plotline was a bit tedious and it got boring

i feel like if a stronger emotional connective has been established between rhys and jules i wouldn’t have minded the like 300 pages of royal plot lines, but that wasn’t there which makes the book lower rated. i also haven’t read the first book in the series and twisted games was the first one i’ve read

some of the smut is REALLY out of pocket

Better than the first book; probably equal to a good 2015 Wattpad fic. This series is like junk food or reality TV—not good at all, but entertaining as hell. Rhys and Bridget made a lot more sense to me than Ava and Alex did in Twisted Love

This book was drastically better than Twisted Love for two reasons: a realistic plot and the absence of Alex Volkov. The first half of the book really exceeded my expectations, but then the story just kept dragging on and on despite the time skips. Had this book been like 200 pages shorter I would have rated it around 3.5 stars — if you like porn with absolutely no plot, then you should like the latter half of this book. It could have been closer to 4 stars if Rhys wasn't so possessive and aggressive. Hell, CAN'T I ENJOY CONSENSUAL DOMINANCE IN A SEXUAL CONTEXT WITHOUT THE MAN BEING VIOLENT IN NONSEXUAL SITUATIONS AS WELL?? That's extremely unsexy, anger issues do not turn me on. Also, I guessed the plot twist in the very beginning,
the one where Rhys is revealed to be of noble Eldorran descent and they get married. (but if Rhys is the brother of Bridget's cousin, doesn't it make Rhys and Bridget half-cousins??? ew.)
