I liked Shipped well enough - it had some flaws, but it was cute and I liked the characters (except for the sister, oy).
However - this book is disappointing. The premise is interesting enough, but it isn't able to have much follow through since the characters have no depth. And it is...a tad creepy overall. the chemistry with Perry was definitely there but it was odd that we ...weren't rooting for Devin in a way. Just kind of odd. Also, the Mercedes twist? Not necessary. First of all - not surprising, and second of all - what were we supposed to feel about her afterward? She was still awful to Cass the whole time. Ugh.
Yeah, just very underwhelming overall. Kind of a bummer.
