This story has so much potential in it. Unfortunately, I don't think this is a type of story that could be packed into one book. It lacks world building, character development, and just feels rushed.

Micah is a very shy and insecure boy, who has no experience in romance nor sex. It doesn't make sense how fast Micah accepted Cade and jumped into sex so he could be bonded with him. Again, the story is rushed and the plot is very disappointing.

The first story I read from the author is A Torn Paige. And I was pretty much enjoying myself reading that even it was a fast-paced story. However, I just couldn't help but feel that the romance between Cade and Micah is forced without any explanation.

So, if you want a smuty book with M/M romance in it, you could get that in this book. There are many sex scene that I had to admit pretty good.

But, DO NOT expect a good plot because you will be dissapointed.

Wow

I don't know why I kept putting this off but am glad to finally read it! So good love that all the bonded understand that not everyone needs to be with the other to be part of the group. Beautiful relationships

This was just so cute and fun. The world building was really well done, especially Zeke’s magic - the elemental stuff was super cool! Not something you often see in supernatural worlds. Micah getting all protective and aggressive when his guys were threatened was absolutely precious. Especially when it was Cade’s family but Micah didn’t know so he threatened them and then he was so cute and shy and embarrassed afterwards - PRECIOUS. Plus Hyde through the whole novel gaaah he was just so perfect and growly and wholesome. Cade was an absolute jerk in the beginning, and I still don’t like the “dweeb” calling even if he started meaning it as a term of endearment. But he did get his head out of his ass ultimately, and it was explosive and so sexy. Lastly, Tanika must be protected at all costs, and I need her and Dandelion’s book immediately.

Started out strong, good action in the middle, but then the last 10-15% kind of fizzled for me. The epilogue was nice, though.

Micah is just adorable and this book took me on a ride that I wish would last longer! I want more from this big bundle of love and care. I will definitely be reading this stand-alone again just like I did with L.Rose's A Torn Paige series I just can't get enough! The paths each character took and the climax was just spectacular and I just love these strong characters!

This book was well crafted and a fun read. I appreciated that it was a standalone. There were a few tropes that were a bit over the top for me, but overall I really enjoyed it. Micah and his men are hot and would recommend.

the first thing i thought when i started this: wattpad vibes (the ones that feel like its written by a 15 yo)

the reason i thought this was because, well, the traumatized but unique and overpowered MC, the dialogue that sounds like it fits a middle/high-schooler's persona more ("dweeb"), the constant biting of lips etc.

the characters were okay, kind of bland(plus Micah and Zeke have so much trauma but it's so easily brushed off). the romance wasn't really that slow paced, it honestly started earlier than halfway through(
for Micah/Zeke/Hyde
). the action portion of the plot was okay as well, it's nothing too surprising and didn't take up a lot of the chapters since the romance was the main focus. also, do the LI's have to get a hard-on every time they see Micah?
