For me, this wasn’t quite as good as the first book even with all the grisly blood and gore. The concept was really cool, the plot was engaging, but the writing felt a bit weak. Still, I’m glad to have read it and I’ll keep going with the series when I’m looking for a quick and diverting read.

I love this series so far! I love how the magic is interwoven throughout the plot. Plus the take on werewolves in this book was good, I liked the fact that there were different types of wolves as well. Looking forward to reading more of this series
