Bummed about the cursing! Otherwise, the writing was really strong.

I was really looking forward to Gareth's story!
And it did absolutely not disappoint!

This story is filled with banter, humor, magic, quests, and love. The love element was especially beautiful because it wasn't only about romance but even more about friendship and family!

Gareth is charming, a bit stubborn, and heroic! He truly wants to do good. It was interesting to see his character growth and how he learned to see more sides to a story. After this story, I love him even more than in ATC.

Anika is a lovely, fierce, and strong heroine. She loves deeply, especially her family. She's an impressive character and a force to be reckoned with.

Leo is so funny and adorable. He definitely stole the show! Best supporting character ever!

Even the villain was a great character. She's complex and layered.

I really liked the chemistry Gareth and Anika had, and their romance was unique and sweet!
But I truly adored Gareth and Leo together. They were so funny! It was almost a bit enemies to friends and amusing to read their banter 😄

The world-building is amazing, just like in the other Miraveld books! I just wandered around in that forest (and other places), enjoying the journey!

There were some important moral lessons woven into the story that added some extra depth to it!

It was truly a magical adventure!
