Parts of this I really liked, but there were also parts that made me mad. For example, I don't think I ever read a YA contemporary with a mother (who wasn't written as abusive) that I so desperately wanted to slap.

Extra unrealistic in parts (the two main characters unknowingly interact in person, on an anonymous chat, and on Twitter?), and Pepper's mom is the worst, but overall it was cute!

I mostly liked - standard cutesy YA romance - but there was a “eating sugar gives you diabetes” joke at the end and I LOATHE those “jokes”.

I really liked this story! At first, the premise seemed a bit weird and I thought that Twitter was a weird social media for it to be centered on, but it honestly ended up working out great.

The way that things escalated and the portrayal of how trends on Twitter can get so out of control so quickly was done so well. I think if it was written even a bit more recently, there would have been some comment on TikTok as well (as for jumping on both hate and love trains so quickly).

Anyway, I really liked this story and I enjoyed the simplicity of it. It was heartfelt, funny, and an enjoyable read. My favorite character was probably Pepper, but Grandma Belly was growing on me (though I didn’t like how they waited so long to reveal her true name).

This romance was so fun! I was fully immersed in this story and I just devoured it!! I'm taking off half a point for some vomit scenes (just phobia things) but overall it was so good! The couple warmed my heart and gave me what I like to call, soul sunshines. :)
