I received this book from the publisher in exchange of an honest review.

This was such a sweet and beautiful book, at points at least. While I did love that Josy took things in her own hands and decided that enough is enough... Decided to go out and live in a camper. Explore new friends and new bonds. Exploring her freedom. Finding happiness again.
But I wasn't fully agreeing with her at points. I mean, I would have liked to see her talk to her husband, to see them discuss things, get the divorce over. Over 50% in the book Josy is exploring a new love.. and I am happy for her, but from what I know she is still together with someone (I see her wearing her wedding ring still). And that is a big no for me. Break it up fully and then explore love. Don't run away and then find a new love. Don't just dump your husband without a word. Don't go that far. I have been cheated on so I am very intolerant on cheating, and I feel that this is that.
But my heart broke when THAT happened. :( While it made me cry and made me want to shake something, I also kind of feel that it was done to give Josy that push to go back home. :|
And then that is the ending? Still nothing resolved? *sighs*

But hey, the art is gorgeous. Bless that. Aimée de Jongh did it again.

While I do like the theme of starting anew no matter the age or circumstance, I do think it needed to explore more on communication. I understand the "show don't tell" aspect and the vehement refusal of Josy's family however it felt  a bit off. I enjoyed it, but wish the emotional aspect hit harder.
