I would not recommed this book, it was poorly writen.
Some of the details of the rape sceens were overly graphic and didn't fit with the theme of the book. The main character's age was never given but suggested she was only 16. She has a sexual affair with an FBI agent. I'm not into books about child sexual abuse.
