This magazine always contains good shorts, but sometimes there's an exceptional story I have to mention and Fruit of All Evil by Marilyn Todd is one of those. The story is set in 16th century Florence and the main character is a woman poisoner; this one is deserving of a 5 stars; it's original and I never saw the twist coming.

Not this issue I'd expect everyone to run out and get (let's be frank, I would say a February Sherlock Holmes themed issue is the must read of a particular year of EQMM) but still solid.
