I appreciated a lot of Harmange's points and her unique, conversational tone. However, I ultimately felt that this essay was just a fresh spin on tried and true feminist ideas.

I did not learn anything new from this essay but I felt heard and seen. Pauline places great importance on the idea of women having each other’s back, women helping and uplifting each other, women forming a mass of solidarity that cannot be silenced.
Another important aspect would be that it’s high time for men to educate themselves on feminist issues. As Pauline says, the burden is always on women in a heterosexual relationship and that is draining and unfair. Many passages made by think of « Le mythe de la virilité » by Olivia Gazalé where the concept of (toxic) masculinity is deconstructed in a brilliant way.
I recommend this one. It’s short and it might fuel your desire to read more feminist publications if you are not doing it already.
