“As long as you have this spark in your eyes, I’ll always recognise you as my Elsa.”

Aiden and Elsa's story started off really good, with all the mysteries and suspense about their past and Elsa's forgotten memories and the betrayals and rivalry that led their parents to the path of destruction, their volatile relationship that later developed into an ardent and an emotional mess.

While I did enjoyed the last two books of their story, Twisted Kingdom fell flat as compared to the previous books. There were a lot of things happening but also nothing much happened in the end. So many inconsequential things and plots were used just to write another book for Aiden and Elsa. Honestly, their story could've been wrapped up in two books maximum and I don't know why Rina decided to write this book when she couldn't even write a proper redemption arc for Aiden and some personal growth and development of Elsa's character.

What was it with Aiden and Elsa and this rivalry between their fathers. It started with a bang but then both the families turned into business partners in the end. Their rivalry was such a useless trope in this book.

➸ Elsa: I really liked Elsa in Deviant King, but after the ending of book 1 she just became this annoying and frustrating girl who is obsessed with Aiden because he brings out a different side of her and she can't resist him and his dick. She ignored him and then she tried to stalk him, justifying her reasons with how she can't help it because she is obsessed with him. I wish that she showed some growth and development and some back bone before accepting Aiden again in her life. She could've made him grovel and beg on his knees but instead she opted for an easy option, which was fucking her into oblivion.

“He stole my fucking heart and soul, and there’s no way I’ll be able to get them back. He’s a thief, remember? A damn thief.”

➸ Aiden: Aiden was just Aiden in this book and you know what I mean. I was hoping to like him in this book if he grovelled or begged but he did nothing. He was a little different with how he was taking care of Elsa and how he was protecting her from her past because he knew how much it would kill her to know the actual truth. But he still is a fuck-up and I cannot forget that. I still don't know how the hell I liked him in book 1

I don't even know where to begin with this one. I started the series not expecting too much but ended at soo much more. The progression of Aidan's character is addicting. I'm satisfied with how he turned out. I love Aidan and Elsa's relationship. Soo intense but endearing at the same time.

I recommend reading because it will certainly take you on a rollercoaster of ups and downs.

I… I don’t even know what to say. This book was everything. I think this was probably my favorite of the 3. I cried so much, but the flashbacks were everything and heartbreaking. But they were also so fucking sweet. He wasn’t kidding when he said Elsa has always been his.  Watching both of them grow and Elsa finally understanding. Ugh, yes. All of it. I could not put this sucker down. I’m sad that thier story is over but I’m really excited to see the rest of the horseman.
