I don’t really love this style of poetry (and don’t know why I keep trying to read it) but there were some really great pieces in this collection. Unfortunately they were always bookended by a couple underwhelming two-liners.

You can feel the pain and love between the words while you’re reading.

absolutely beautiful. sometimes simplicity is what’s missing in books, as there are too many moments we find ourselves over-complicating writers and meaning. loved this ❣️

For anyone who has suffered abuse, and loss of a relationship. For anyone who has their feet in two worlds. For any woman who is unsure of herself. This is a book of poetry that will resound with you.
