When I initially finished this book I wanted to give it 4 ⭐ ️ and now a part of me wants to give it 3.5 but only because I can't remember what I read anymore and had to reread the synopsis. Biance had a childhood crush who she supported like none other through the build up of his music career, Nash. In the end Nash finds himself a fool for not communicating his concerns for their relationship and calls off his wedding in an attempt to make amends with Biance and get the love of his life back. I enjoyed this book and still kinda-sorta hate Nash for being an ignorant fool. I still HATE the no communication in books, ugh it makes things so much more complicated 😂I am just glad they had an happy ending, even though I still think Bianca deserves better.

This book is one of my top reads for this year and my favorite of from this author. It is a complete standalone, written in Bianca's POV with some of Nash's POV through out. It starts with an intense event and then is divided into their high school years, before said event, and then picks back up and follows after the event. I loved that it had the younger years for Bianca and Nash. It brought a sweet, albeit emotional, innocence to the story. The author even dropped a bombshell I did not see coming at all. Bianca is sweet and just seems to get the raw end of the deal all too much. Nash is one that made me feel many emotions towards. Overall, the journey was packed with emotional moments and some angst to keep pulling me through.

A first time author to me with a friends to lovers turn second chance romance. Slow burn, angst, tears and learning how to deal with helping the love of your life marry another woman. I was instantly intrigued by the blurb and while I was furious at both the lead characters at times, I was loving the herione standing up for herself when the hero came back into the picture. Overall, good story.

Liked it.
The flow was good and how the characters were introduced was wonderful. I liked the writing style and loved how [a:Kristy Love|8204304|Kristy Love|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1441467770p2/8204304.jpg] related the past events to the present ones. I shed a tear or two in some parts where the angst was real. I felt Bianca

The characters kept pushing and pulling. So if you are not a fan,be warned. I didn't like the guy. He only thought about himself
Spoiler when he kissed Bianca on the street and assumed because it was his hometown that people were not going to photograph him
When he didn't his decisions would make Mother Teresa mad. Not kidding. I liked that he was humble and he knew when he messed up( that was his saving grace).
He was immature and developed very little but enough to make me smile.
The ending was excellent
