not smart enough for the politics, but smart enough to pick up on the homoeroticism

I enjoyed this almost as much as the first Murdle. It hasn't messed with the formula and it's nice that I'm making a tradition out of reading a Murdle book every New Year into January. But I was definitely less fussed about the back story this time, which seemed really complicated. And I couldn't follow it properly while breaking it up to solve all the murders! Fun though, and I feel very clever every time I complete a puzzle.
